Down Shawls in the Work of Modern Designers and Couturiers
Orenburg down shawls in designer collections: Yulia Seregina, Anastasia Romantseva, Alena Akhmadullina and a show in Tallinn in 2008.
In recent years, designers have increasingly used Orenburg down shawls in their work. A down shawl looks especially original combined with silk and modal. This combination was discovered by Moscow designer Yulia Seregina in her 2014 collection "Smart Folk".
For Yulia Seregina, this is not her first work with down shawls: in 2012 and 2013 she already used Orenburg lace in her collections.

Gossamer shawls on a Paris catwalk
Yulia Seregina is not the only designer to turn to the Orenburg down shawl. Anastasia Romantseva built her 2013 collection "A La Russe", shown in Paris, around Orenburg gossamer shawls.
Skirts made of shawls, and veils
Even earlier, designer Alena Akhmadullina presented a collection based on Orenburg down shawls: all the skirts in it were made of down shawls. "Fit for both a feast and the world" was the general verdict.

And in 2008 in Tallinn, veils created on the basis of Orenburg down shawls were presented at a fashion show.
