Viscose is the only artificial material made from raw material of natural origin (natural cellulose). Depending on the processing method, it can resemble linen, wool or silk. Because of its characteristic sheen and smoothness, viscose is often called “artificial silk”. It is a hypoallergenic, breathable material that is not hot in summer and is warm in winter. It washes easily, dries instantly and holds dye well (does not run or fade). It is used to make women's and men's clothing — T-shirts, dresses, turtlenecks, cardigans and more.
