A Large Exhibition at the Orenburg Down Shawl Gallery for the Feast of the Intercession
On 14 October 2018, the Orenburg Down Shawl gallery opened a large exhibition for the Intercession: down items, tools and designer works.
The Feast of the Intercession is the main holiday among the Orenburg Down Shawl Days. In a sense, this day "sums up" the warm season: the cold finally arrives, and it is time to take the down shawls out of the wardrobe.
For the Orenburg Down Shawl Days and, of course, the Intercession, the Orenburg Down Shawl gallery prepared a large themed exhibition, which opened on Sunday, 14 October. Now anyone can come and admire works of the down-knitting craft, craftswomen's tools, modern designer works and much more.
The exhibits include a wide variety of down items from Orenburg, works by Anna Sovetova and the concept of a project by the young designer Daria Alyokhina, whom we have already written about.
