The Shalnoy Orenburg Artel at the International Forum "The Orenburg Region – the Heart of Eurasia"

This week, on 5 and 6 December, Orenburg hosted a large international forum, "The Orenburg Region – the Heart of Eurasia". Its aim is to show the region's huge production and economic potential and to map out development paths for each sector and each area.

The scale of the forum

The forum was impressive in scale: in total it brought together more than 3,000 guests. Many organisations of the region showed their production capabilities and contribution to the region's development, and representatives of different territories also demonstrated high potential.

The down craft at the forum

The Shalnoy Orenburg artel had the honour of representing the craft that most people associate with our city – the making of high-quality goat-down items. Forum guests highly appreciated our products and the organisation's contribution to the development of the craft.

The forum is widely covered by local and federal media, and Orenburg down shawls, of course, did not go unnoticed. Among the journalists interested in the craft was Anton Privolnov, presenter of the TV programme "Control Purchase" on Channel One.

Numerous delegations from the republics of the Eurasian Economic Union came to the forum. The programme included many round tables, master classes and presentations. The scale of the event showed that the Orenburg region is a very promising region with huge potential for development in a wide variety of areas of industry, business and crafts.
