Staff of the Shalnoy Orenburg artel selected elite down at the seasonal goat combing at the Donskoye agricultural cooperative, the largest breeding farm in the region.
Traditionally, the seasonal combing of down goats takes place at the end of March. From our previous articles you probably already know a lot about this important process, which benefits both sides.
Staff of the Shalnoy Orenburg down artel visited the Donskoye agricultural cooperative. Today it keeps the largest herd of pedigree down goats in the Orenburg region and, of course, holds the largest down combing every year. The purpose of our visit was to select only elite down for our items.
We are pleased to report that there was plenty of raw material. This means that even more magnificent down items from the craftswomen of our artel will soon await you – watch for updates to our range!
