Openwork stole “Still River” is a down item from the Orenburg stoles section. The name refers to calm water: like the surface of a river, the stole's openwork fabric looks light, flowing and calm.
Openwork stoles are knitted from fine down yarn containing Orenburg goat down. Thanks to the openwork, the item is airy and almost weightless, yet the down still retains warmth well, so such a stole is appropriate at any time of year.
The rectangular shape makes it very convenient: the stole is thrown over the shoulders on top of a dress, wrapped around the neck under a coat or used to cover the head. With an evening outfit it looks festive, and with everyday clothes, soft and feminine.
Openwork down likes gentle care: hand washing in cool water without rubbing and drying spread out on a horizontal surface.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
