White gossamer shawl “Snow Waltz” is hand-knitted from goat down with viscose silk. Its 140×140 cm size is one of the largest for gossamer shawls: the shawl generously covers both the head and the shoulders.
In the photo the gossamer shawl is thrown over the head and held at the throat with the hands, and its ends fall freely almost to the knees over a red dress. This clearly shows the openwork fabric in a fine mesh with patterned paths and the wide pointed border along the edge.
Thanks to its size, “Snow Waltz” can be worn in different ways: covering the head in cold weather or when visiting a church, thrown over the shoulders as a light shawl, or wrapped around you on a cool evening. White looks festive and is suitable for celebrations, church weddings and family occasions.
Down with silk is light and warms well, hardly felt on the shoulders. Care for the gossamer shawl gently: hand washing in cool water and drying spread out.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
