Men's down socks from the collection of warm socks by Orenburg craftswomen are designed for a man's foot and for serious cold.
Down socks have long been valued by winter fishing and hunting enthusiasts, drivers and everyone who has to spend a long time in the frost. Orenburg goat down is light and retains heat well, so the socks can be worn under valenki (felt boots), winter boots or high boots without making the footwear heavier.
At home such socks replace slippers on cold evenings, and at the dacha or in a country house they help while the stove is heating up. It is a practical gift for a husband, father or grandfather for New Year or 23 February.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
