Down stole “Heart of a Beauty” is a generous white hand-knitted item measuring 200×80 cm. This format lets you not only throw the stole over your shoulders but also wrap yourself in it completely, like a light shawl.
The photo shows how rich its pattern is: rows of openwork diamonds with floral motifs inside run across the fabric, with dense stripes between them, and along the edge stretches a border with neat points. The pattern reads well on both dark and light clothing.
The stole is knitted from goat down with viscose silk. Down gives softness and warmth; silk makes the fabric stronger and gives it a delicate sheen. It can be worn over the shoulders with an evening dress, wrapped around the neck under a coat or taken along on a cool evening.

To make your shawl last for years

Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
