Stole “Snow Flowers” is a white openwork item measuring 150×70 cm, made of goat down with viscose silk. Its pattern resembles a scattering of snowflakes blossoming on the fabric like flowers.
The photo shows how the motifs are arranged: openwork flowers and small “dots” are scattered over the fabric, and the edges are framed by a border with fine sharp points. The white fabric is translucent, and against the red dress the pattern becomes especially expressive.
The 70 cm width makes the stole cosy: you can wrap your shoulders in it like a cape, crossing the ends on your chest. It also looks good around the neck under a coat and on the head in windy weather. Down gives warmth without weight, and silk makes the fabric stronger.
To keep the “snow flowers” snow-white, wash the stole by hand in cool water and dry it laid out on a towel.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
