Gossamer shawl “Snowflakes” is a white shawl measuring 120×120 cm, made of goat down with viscose silk. The fluffy openwork fabric really does resemble large snowflakes.
In the photo the gossamer shawl is thrown over the shoulders on top of a short red dress with a floral print, and its ends fall below the knees. This is a good example of how gossamer shawls are worn not only in winter: with a light dress it looks fresh and romantic. Openwork patterns and a pointed border along the edge are visible.
In the cold season the shawl is tied over the head or wrapped around the neck under a coat, and on a summer evening it is thrown over the shoulders. White goes with clothes of any shade and print.
Down with silk makes the gossamer shawl light and warm. Wash it by hand in cool water and dry it spread out on a horizontal surface.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
