Grey shawl “Fir Branch” is hand-knitted from goat down with cotton. Its size is 140×140 cm, enough to cover the shoulders and back and let the ends fall almost to the knees.
In the photo the shawl is thrown over the shoulders on top of a red dress. On the grey fabric the openwork pattern is clearly visible: diamonds, zigzags and motifs resembling fir branches, which gave the model its name. A border with sharp points runs along the edge.
Thanks to the cotton base the shawl is dense and warm. It is worn on the shoulders over a dress or coat, tied over the head in frost, and used as a warm wrap at home. Grey is practical and goes with both bright and muted shades.
Wash the shawl by hand in cool water and dry it spread out on a horizontal surface so that the pattern and points keep their shape.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
