Down mittens with a snowflake pattern are made for a real winter. They are hand-knitted by Orenburg craftswomen from goat down with cotton thread and are ready to withstand severe frosts, keeping your hands warm even in the bitterest cold.
The mittens are knitted from Orenburg down, so even though they look rather thin, they can keep you warm even in hard frost.
The photo shows what makes them memorable: the white fluffy fabric is decorated with a contrasting grey-brown pattern of large snowflakes. The pattern looks festive but not showy and goes equally well with a classic coat, a down jacket or a sheepskin coat.
Down makes the mittens very warm and at the same time light — they do not restrict movement and fit the hand softly. The cotton thread in the composition gives the knitting strength, so the mittens last more than one season.
These mittens are a good gift for the winter holidays, especially paired with a down shawl or warm shawl. Wash them by hand in cool water without rubbing and dry them spread out away from radiators.

To make your shawl last for years
1 · Washing
Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent. Do not soak the shawl for long.
2 · Wringing
Gently press out the water with your palms. Do not twist, or the shawl will lose its shape.
3 · In a towel
Wrap the shawl in a dry towel and press gently to remove excess moisture.
4 · Drying
Dry flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Straighten the pattern by hand.
